Volunteer at WTC’s Auction for Action

We have an opening for an event intern for summer through fall 2008. The event intern will work directly with the Membership and Event Manager on our eighth annual “Auction for Action,” WTC’s premier fundraising event.

The Auction takes place on October 16, 2008 at Fisher Pavilion, Seattle Center.

Planning for the Eighth annual “Auction for Action” is underway at the Washington Toxic Coalition. This gala event is our largest fundraiser, and its success is directly tied to the work and dedication of enthusiastic volunteers – like you. We need people to assist with a number of different jobs, and invite you to be part of this year’s event. As a bonus, auction volunteers have an opportunity to bid on the fabulous array of items available that evening.

We deeply appreciate the support of past volunteers and hope you will join us again this year. If you are new to WTC, we eagerly anticipate meeting and working with you this year. You can use the “Forward to a Friend” button at the top of this page to send this message to your family, friends and co-workers who might be interested in joining the fun.

We look forward to having you as part of our “Auction for Action” team!

Special Opportunities!

1. Auction Item Collection Assistance

For those of you who are on-the-go, consider helping us pick up our auction items. Make new connections with people in your community and discover great new places to shop, eat, create and recreate.

>>I’d like to help with collection.

2. Data Entry Assistance

For those of you who prefer being behind the scenes, we are seeking some volunteers who would be interested in visiting our office a few hours a week to help with data entry. The bonus to this volunteer opportunity is checking out the amazing view of the Cascades from our office. Available days/hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

>>I’d like to help with data entry.
